Yerry Mina: Everton defender fined over FA betting breaches

After being found guilty of violating regulations everton defender Yerry Mina was fined # 10,000 by the FA and warned about his future conduct.
The Everton defender, who came in Goodison Park from Barcelona at August 2018, was found to be in breach of FA Rule E8(3), by engaging in an ad for gambling activity that he is prohibited from engaging in.
Following he appeared in an advert for a firm in his native Colombia earlier this season, he was billed in July.
The 24-year-old apologised for his error and admitted the charge of misconduct in the earliest chance.
The FA Regulatory Commission has released the written reasons behind the decision, that show money Mina obtained was donated to the participant’s own base – to assist young people from his own hometown.
Mina has performed in all four of Everton’s Premier League matches this year.
Even the centre-back featured in Colombia’s 2-2 draw with Brazil and could be in contention for selection ahead of his nation’s friendly against Venezuela.
