Dani Ceballos believes new team-mate Alexandre Lacazette is the“greatest player“ in Arsenal.
The Spain international midfielder left 2 assists on his very first start in a win against Burnley and joined Arsenal to a loan from Real Madrid this summer.
Ceballos is now relishing the chance of playing with the Gunners front three, and has amazed in his four appearances so far, particularly Lacazette, before Sunday’s match against Watford, live on Sky Sports Premier League.
The 23-year-old said:“We have got a very good side and up the three front really make the difference.
„You could compare Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to Cristiano Ronaldo when he was at Madrid because he plays near the target, he resides for scoring. He’s very essential for us, fundamental.
„Nicolas Pepe is quite direct. And Lacazette is the ideal player for me: he understands the game perfectly and he will give us so much, if he is 100% .
„Fitting all the players collectively need to heat up the supervisor’s head!“
Ceballos, who won his cap for his country in Sunday’s triumph admits he is relishing having manager Unai Emery’s trust after being suspended by Zinedine Zidane.
„It was astonishing to hear my name but I’m very grateful – it was my very first day and it was like I had been playing in England 10 years,“ he said.
„I am just very happy to be part of this fantastic club. I have barely noticed any difference in size between Real Madrid and Arsenal.
„It’s a lot simpler to adapt because the lovers make you feel like you’ve been in the club forever. I adore the way everyone’s treated me. They’ve put a great deal of faith in me“
