Wales manager Ryan Giggs states Daniel James is unstoppable occasionally following the winger ensured victory over Belarus with another goal that is impressive.
Night james curled a winner to hand Wales a 1-0 success in their friendly in Cardiff on Monday.
The Manchester United winger has scored four goals in his previous six games for club and country, also Giggs has backed the 21-year-old to continue his fine form as the season advances.
„He is one of those players that you know what he is going to perform but you can’t stop it,“ Giggs said.
„There are many aims [he has scored] such as that. He could go either way.
„Early on when I saw DJ, exactly like any young winger, there can be that advancement in the final ring and scoring more goals. But he is doing that.
„To do everything he’s done at the start of the year is amazing. The following step is that consistency, that he’s shown so much and he needs to carry on.
„But I’ve got no doubts that’ll happen because he wants to be the ideal.“
Wales were given an increase in their bid to qualify for Euro 2020 after Croatia and Hungary both dropped points on Monday.
World Cup semi-finalists Croatia were held to a 1-1 draw by Azerbaijan, while Hungary lost 2-1 at home to Slovakia.
Wales are currently 3 adrift of both Hungary and Slovakia and four points behind Croatia, with a match in hand in Group E. on all their rivals
„I really don’t think they are the worst consequences in the world,“ said Giggs.
„It was a tough individual with Hungary and Slovakia. We certainly didn’t need a win.
„But we’ve got to concentrate on ourselves. It’s still in our hands.“
