Anapurna back in the groove in Prix de Royallieu at ParisLongchamp

Anapurna benefited from a different fine trip to acquire a second Group One victory of the season from the Prix de Royallieu at ParisLongchamp.
Even the John Gosden-trained filly showed the courage and determination which had witnessed her triumph from the Oaks at Epsom when defeated at the Prix Vermeille but she had had one outing since that victory won by her stablemate Star Catcher.
Dettori was on the winner that day, but he was reunited with Anapurna this time and bounced out into an early lead.
Dettori was able to dictate the pace to his own liking Since he has done round the Paris monitor, but Anapurna needed to fend off several rivals.
The first persistent challenger was once she started to fade Enbihaar, another inmate, started to make improvement from the trunk together with Aidan OBriens Delphina and Lah Ti Dar.
Each time it seemed like Anapurna was beginning to tire, but she proved the trip and just managed to obtain a bit more was no issue.
There was a little scrimmaging on the run to the point however adhering to an inquiry, the stewards abandoned the outcome unchanged.
